Warmest Winter Wishes

Monday, November 28, 2016

Oh how I love this little owl!  I have to admit... I'm not a huge 'critter' fan.  I know, I know... They are cute, don't get me wrong.  They're just not typically 'my thing'.  However, this owl from WP9 Winter Pals is my thing.  Love him!

I created a simple little scene with the trees from WP9 Holiday Houses.  Both the tree and owl images are colored with Copic markers and coated with a layer of clear Wink Of Stella.

I die cut the word Christmas from the WP9 Christmas Tag Die and colored one with a couple shades of red Copics and one with a couple shades of green Copics.  Both match the scarves and cardstock.

A little frame cut with a few rectangles in the WP9 4 Bar Die set anchor the image and sentiments.

I added a few details with a white gel pen to the scarves and the owls' cheeks.  So cute!  All stamps and dies are linked below {affiliate links used}  Thanks so much for stopping by! How are you doing with your holiday stamping?  I received my first Christmas card in the mail today.  I think I have about 15 cards made so far.  I'd better step on it!

Candy Colored Holiday Lights {PTI Blog Hop}

Friday, November 25, 2016

It's been a long time since I've participated in a Papertrey Ink Blog Hop!  I always love the inspiration piece, but never seem to find the time.

This month, since Christmas will be here before you know it, I pulled out all of my Christmas sets.  When I saw this PTI Holiday Lights set in my stash I thought it would look great stamped in all of these bright, unexpected colors.

I used Simply Chartreuse, Harvest Gold, Hibiscus Burst, and Hawaiian Shores.

I added a bit of clear Wink Of Stella to each bulb for a little shimmer!  All other supplies used are linked below.
